CITB Approved Training Organisation (ATO)

In 2018 CITB changed the way it supports training across the construction industry, introducing Approved Training Organisations (ATO). An ATO training providers must demonstrate that they deliver training to a defined industry training standard

Why book training with a CITB ATO

As a CITB ATO we provide construction training courses and qualifications to a defined and industry-agreed training standard.

Employers in the construction industry want to be able to claim grants when employees attend grant eligible courses. As an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) we will confirm the learner’s achievement, upload the details onto the Construction Training Register, if you are eligible for a Grant this will trigger the automated grant process and remove the need for the employer to complete the paperwork speeding up the payment process. (link to the courses that are eligible for grants)

Some courses that are grant claimable may still need to be claimed directly by the employer, such as NEBOSH Construction, please contact our training administrator to confirm if we are able to process your candidates’ achievements.

The Construction Training Register

Training Register is an online database of workers/delegates that employers can access to check their achievements. Training providers upload achievements following course completion, which means you can see which training your workers (or potential workers) have completed.

The Construction Training Directory

The Construction Training Directory (CTD) is where customers can search for training courses that are scheduled to be delivered by Approved Training Organisations, you can also find their venue and contact details. Only Approved Training Organisations have access to advertise their training dates on here.
